Bozena Grodkowski Podraza, L.M.T., Reiki Master Teacher
Bozena G. Podraza is the founder and president of European Hands of Light, LLC. She has been teaching students holistic therapy techniques and performing therapeutic massage and energy work for over 15 years. Her passion is to guide beginning and advanced students along their path to self awareness and mastery of the healing arts. Bozena is known for her passionate style of teaching where each of her classes is an in-depth exploration of the art and practice of any given therapeutic technique. Bozena's mastery of the healing arts extends far and wide into many different modalities including Tui-na, Thai massage, reflexology, acupressure, M'Lis Body Contouring and Facial Rejuvenation, Chakra balancing, neuromuscular therapy, Reiki healing and various forms of massage therapy. With a well grounded perspective in the healing arts and years of experience, Bozena has an immense ability to teach others the art and practice of her trade and to do it exceptionally well.
Bozena received her massage therapy license from the West Wind Academy in 1996 and her Reiki Master Teacher Certification from the International Center for Reiki in 2000. Over the years Bozena has offered her services in private practice, as well as with countless physician and chiropractor offices, health clubs, beauty salons, hospitals, and volunteer organizations. All of these real world experiences have given Bozena an expansive practical knowledge base in addition to her theoretical one. All of these experiences directly benefit her students. Regarding her career, Bozena has said " I am now at a point in my career where the lessons I have learned from my extensive work in the field is directly driving my desire to teach and to impart my wisdom to the next set of massage and bodywork practitioners entering the field". There is no doubt that students who study under Bozena will not only learn all the fundamental skills and principles of a particular therapeutic modality, but will also learn the art of translating those skills to a successful practice. Ultimately, Bozena will guide her students to reach their full potential as students of the healing arts and as children of this earth. That is her passion.
